ADD SINGER TO THE RESUME

Evan Rachel Wood is in talks to sign a contract with Interscope Records, the same label as boyfriend Marilyn Manson. Though nothing has been finalized, her vocal performance in “Across the Universe” reportedly blew them away.

Evan Rachel Wood sat down with Nylon Magazine for their September 2007 issue.

The beautiful corrupted teen discusses her plans to possibly break into the music industry, along with every other actress and their mother at this time.

On Her Music Career: “I’d love to make an album but I’ve just never met people who didn’t want to turn me into some pop diva.”

On Singing Karaoke: “We actually just went karaoking in New York. And you haven’t karaoked until you’ve karaoked with me. Everyone’s like, ‘Aw, no, I don’t wanna go.’ So they drag their feet, but the second they get there… [she smiles] So Manson and I sang ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and ‘Born to Run.’ But in the middle of the night, I looked at him and said, ‘I’m gonna sing one of your songs.’ And I was just threatening as a joke, but then I saw ‘Lunchbox’ in the karaoke book. I don’t think he thought I knew the song… so I went up and just screamed it and sat it, sat back down, and he looked at me and said, ‘I’m so in love with you. You have no idea.’ It was really awesome.”

On Manson As Her Musical Inspiration: “We really inspired each other. I’ve been kind of shy about anything I did on my own, what I wrote or any songs that I made. I never let anybody read them or hear them, but he’s definitely made me feel comfortable enough to come out of my shell. I’ve been writing, getting really into photography now. Because Manson is just really encouraging in every way, it really makes you want to get up and go, and now we each have a partner in crime.”

On Her Looks: “I’m really just being me and growing up. And I’m sorry if I have blond hair and blue eyes and my boyfriend looks like a vampire. What do you want me to do about it?”

On Sleeping In Manson’s Bed: “He snores louder than anybody I have ever heard! I think it’s the sweetest thing ever. It actually lulls me to sleep. But he puts Geppetto to shame. It’s literally like (mimics Manson's snoring). It’s every snore you’ve ever heard, rolled into one.”

On Staring In Manson's Video: “At the end of the video, we’re kissing and it’s raining blood – and for me, that was one of the most romantic moments of my entire life. We made it for each other … Because that’s how we were feeling at the time: Even though ugliness can be all around you – you can literally be in a thunderstorm of blood – if you look past that, it really is just two people holding on to each other...And you know, the same thing with the sex scene. If you’re going to have a sex scene, that’s what it is. When you’re with someone and you’re in love, that’s usually what happens. It’s not always soft. Sometimes it’s somebody screaming or whatever.”

"If you've ever dated me, then you would have ended up wearing eyeliner at some point. All my boyfriends have. Marilyn is lovely, really human and just amazing. It may surprise you just how healthy and loving our relationship is."

"He's crazy! And crazy, by the way, is the highest compliment I pay. Manson is definitely crazy. Hopefully I am, too."

How They Met: "(we were both) hiding in the corner of a party neither of us wanted to be at." She recalls, after he split from Dita, "we just suddenly looked into one another's eyes and knew."

One Word To Describe What Attracts Her To Manson: "Eyeliner."

On Drugs: "I'm not saying I'm an angel, I just don't have an addictive personality. Even today, with Manson, I'm happier staying home watching movies."

On Manson's Influence: "You should see his house, omigod, it's a hurricane of creativity. And it's making me feel more creative than ever before. I'm writing poetry, songs, taking photographs, experimenting with fashion, everything."

On What She Realized Since They Began Dating: "Just how cruel people can be. I've seen blogs where I've been called a slut, a whore, that say I should be condemned to death simply because I've fallen in love. Surely the fact that we are both prepared to go through all this proves just how important – and real – our love is, no? Everyone is so worried that I'm losing myself but really I'm finding myself. I've never been more comfortable in my own skin."

Marilyn looks the most normal here I think I have ever seen him. And still he gives me the creeps. Is nice that he is taking a walk with his daughter. What, that is his GF? That he left Dita for? Oh nevermind then - it's not so nice.

ETA: yes I know Dita left him, but it is because of him cheating on her with Evan.

Manson Has REAL Wood

"Manson and Wood elected not to fake their intercourse. Though their naughty bits are concealed on-screen by bedclothes and each other's bodies, the logistics of the shoot ensured the crew members had an intimate view of the proceedings: The video was originally intended to be shot in 3-D, meaning the couple's writhings had to be shot from several different angles simultaneously. And just to be sure they got it right, Manson and Wood got it on three times for the cameras."


That is really too much info and it's disgusting, who wants to see kiddie porn. Simulated sex was disturbing enough with a 19 year old! Seriously Marilyn! They showed this shizz on TRL LOL and if it is real that is hilarious that they broadcasted a porno on MTV.
