Despite claims that the Spice Girls reunion tour was completely sold out, we got a hold of some photos, from only their second show on the world tour, which tell a different story.

The girls took the stage at the Mandalay Arena and empty seats were scattered throughout the auditorium.

THE SPICE GIRLS COMEBACK TOUR!

The Spice Girls kicked off their comeback tour in in Vancouver on Sunday night!

The girls wore huge platforms, and golden designs by Roberto Cavalli. Mel C, Sporty, rocked her signature style, veering from the feminine designs. They pleased the crowd by opening up the tour with "Spice Up Your Life"!

Reviews of their first show have been mixed, though most reviews applaud the girls for having such a fun visual show that impressed many.

“Alright you lot,
Wow, what a busy few days I’ve had… it’s been mental but brilliant at the same time. As you know, I flew to the UK with Victoria last week so that we could hook up with the other girls to shoot the video for our new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). It was a really, really long day but I think that’s because we all sat around drinking tea and gossiping like a bunch of old women! We had such a laugh. It was great to be together again and I think the video is going to look fan-bloody-tastic. I can’t wait to see it finished and on TV...

Hopefully you will have heard the single by now as it was played on radio on Tuesday morning. We are really pleased with it and hope that you will love it as much as we do. I can’t wait to perform it for the first time with the rest of the girls.

I’m back in LA now as I’m Dancing With The Stars. I was so pleased with the judges’ comments this week. I was really nervous about the performance as I had such little time to practice but I think the other girls brought me luck. I really enjoyed dancing to Spice Up Your Life. My dancing partner Maks was with me in the UK so that we could practice our routine in-between takes of the video. Although I think the other girls scared him a bit – but that’s what Girl Power is all about.

I’m so excited about the tour and soon we will all be together in LA so we can really get stuck in to rehearsals. It is going to be such an AMAAAAAAZING show, so I hope you’ve all got your tickets!

The first performance of The Spice Girls in London sold out in 38 seconds. 1 million +UK fans registered weeks ago so they would know the minute the tickets went on sale. As soon as the fans were notified, they ran to buy. The tickets started at $100.

Word on the Street

Scary Spice Mel B and Stephen Belafonte got married on June 6th. And we are just hearing about it now!? Word is that there was a prenup and the marriage was kept secret because of her paternity battle with Eddie.

Mel B.'s rep had this to say, "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have know each other for many years and were great friends first. Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together."

Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown's 2-month-old daughter!!!!!

PEOPLE has confirmed the test Murphy took on June 11 was positive.

"He's the baby's father, it's official. The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his. There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."
