THAT SLY LITTLE MINX

The case of the missing mink coat!

According to the New York Post, Masha Markova, a 22 year-old student, says she attended a private party at with Linday Lohan and when she put down her $11,000 blonde mink coat at the Jan. 26th party, she couldn't find it at the end of the evening.

After seeing a similar coat on LL she tells the NYP, "It was my coat. It was no doubt!"

So, Masha's lawyer contacted LL's lawyer, Blair Berk, and threatened legal action against the alleged thief.

"They were very discreet, never mentioned a name or even the word 'coat.' They just said, 'We're going to bring you something,'" Masha said.

A few days later, the blonde mink coat was returned, but she wants Lindsay to apologize and pay at least $10,000 in a "rental" fee.

"I don't see how it could have been an accident," Masha added.

LL's rep declined to comment on the incident.

This however would not be the first time Lindsay has been caught wearing another person's clothing. On the now infamous 2007 car chase with her assistant's mother, Lindsay claimed the drugs found in her pocket were not hers they were not even her pants! LOL!

Well, hopefully LL stole the coat for PETA! Go naked people, save the minks!

PS: I didn't know what a Mink really looked like and OMG they are really cute! Save them bitches!

TMZ.com also adds some info that is in LiLo's favor:

We're also told that LiLo's position is that she has a "number of similar coats" and that as soon as she was told it wasn't hers, she immediately made plans to return it to its rightful owner. We're also told that the notion that the coat reeked of booze and cigs is "absurd."

LiLo picked up the coat in the wee hours of the morning at 1 Oak -- and TMZ caught one of her guy friends carrying the coat out of the club. Later that day, we also saw her wearing it from day until night, in some of the most pap-infested places in NYC. The owner, Masha Markova, got it back a couple weeks later.

If it was in fact stolen, we doubt she'd wear it out in public that soon. Might have been an honest mistake...
