LL TAKES A STEP BACK!

Things have been looking up for Lindsay Lohan recently, but after being snapped at her New Year's Eve Party in Capri appearing to be sipping on a bottle of champagne, many fear she is falling back into her old patterns.

"After being handed a champagne bottle while on a dance floor in Italy on New Year's Eve and drinking from it, the good news is that Lindsay stopped herself, called her sponsor, and got herself back on track. There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her 'one day at a time' with the entire world."

TMZ.com also contacted Howard Freedman, the publicist for the Capri Film Festival, who told TMZ:
"It is purely and unadulteratedly untrue that that young girl misbehaved inappropriately in any event associated with Capri Hollywood. She was a consummate professional ... and couldn't have been more of a pleasure to have there. There were bottles of waters, there were bottles of non-alcoholic beverages, but I was on that dance floor with her, so I can only tell you what my eyes saw."
