BRITNEY TAKEN TO HOSPITAL!

UPDATE: Her-va-JJ has been released for the hospital and is safe with K-Fed. Britney will be held for a 72 hour observation period. Charges are likely to be filed against Brit within the next day.

Well last night was a crazy night at the Spears house.

Here's how it went down: Britney was visiting with SPF and her-va-JJ at her house in Malibu and K-Fed's bodyguard showed up to take the boys home to their daddy. But Britney didn't want to let they boys go just yet and was acting crazier then usual, so one of KFed's men alerted authorities of her strange behavior at home.

Paramedics and police arrived on the scene to assess the situation. After realizing Britney was visibly intoxicated they stepped in and tried to hand the kids over to KFed's men. Britney still continued to refuse to turn over the children . After a 3-hour standoff with police, Britney was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for observation. You can see her almost amused while getting ready to be taken away in the ambulance. Britney was checked into the E.R. as "special needs" patient. More like special ed! We really hope Britney can pull her shit together.

Her-va-JJ was also taken to the hospital for an unknown reasons.
