Pagesix is reporting that Jessica Simpson didn't show up for an Operations Smile Event last night. A source said, "She got a lot of good publicity from the charity but refused to let pictures of her be in the commemorative book and hasn't done anything with them in a year." Jessica's rep said that she couldn't make it, because she was getting an award for another charity she works with (Editors' question: Cannes= A charity? Award=Booze?). Isn't Operation Smile the charity that caused her to break up with Nick? She went to Africa and he didn't and that is why she filed for divorce? I guess they have served their purpose.
